Mr. Zhang is a domestic senior consultant on brand management and trademark protection, especially on providing whole legal protection advice and handling difficult cases, even better on offering legal support related to trademark for famous law offices domestic and overseas. The BZ IP he created is a professional agency focusing on IP legal service with advanced level, which is appointed by the Trademark Office and Trademark Review and Adjudication Board of the State Administration for Industry & Commerce for providing professional trademark service. The clients include plenty of enterprises, such as Alibaba Group, Electrolux Group, China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, Jinfeng Wine, Nipponpaint, Shanghai Goldpartner Biotech, Shanghai First Food Chain Development, H&M, Lemon Green tea, Baby Box, Fanchenyo etc. Mr. Zhang is also chief advisor on trademark law for Giant Interactive Group, 4399, CHINA RAILWAY etc.

History of Education and Career:

Master Candidate from Tianjin University
Mr. Zhang joined Intellectual property field in 2005. He had been founder and president of BZ IP for more than 10 years. Currently, he is a part-time professor of School of Economics and Management of BJTU, judge of Best Brand Award Enterprise (Great China) of Hong Kong Productivity Council, special consultant on trademark affairs of Giant Interactive and Alibaba Group, chief IP consultant of The Cao Xueqin Society.
As a part-time professor of School of Economics and Management of BJTU, Mr. Zhang has been taking IP related lectures with case analysis at BJTU and other universities, periodically, focusing on company law, intellectual property law, and trademark law etc which are probably used during students’ business start-up. It benefits students a lot on accelerating such start-up programs entering market.

Public Welfare:

Mr. Zhang established “Zhang Haiyan Scholarship” in his own name at Peking University since 2014-2015 semesters.
